Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds, Argyreia nervosa

Our HBWS seeds are imported directly from Madagascar, probably were these seeds originated from and are guaranteed organic and untreated with chemicals.

These seeds have been used ethnobotanically in the Pacific Islands by certain high priests to induce communication with the spiritual world. 

Alkaloids found in the seeds are Ergine, Isoergine, Ergometrine, Alpha-OH-ethylamide and IsoLys.

Hawaiian Baby Woodrose maybe propagated by cuttings or by seeds. Our seeds have an approximate 70% germination success rate. To sprout the seeds make a small nick in the seed coat away from the germ eye and then soak the seed until it swells, then plant about ½ inch deep in good rich soil. In the first year it should grow into a bush about 2 ft tall.
