Cebil Seeds, Anadenanthera colubrina
Prehistoric graves in Chile have been found to contain numerous tools dedicated to the snuff ritual sniffing of Cebil. Today Shamans of the Wichi (Mataco Indians) still use snuff made from Cebil seeds. These Shamans smoke the dried or roasted Cebil seeds as a means to enter another reality. Cebil is honored as a gateway to a visionary world and has been used for this purpose for at least 5,000 years, making Argentina the place with the longest shamanic use of psychoactive herbs on earth.
All of our Cebil Seeds are viable and are sold for collection or propagation purposes only.
This is a beautiful fern leaf type tree with wide branches which needs good sunlight and well drained soil, a beautiful addition to any plant collection.
