Betel Nuts, Areca catechu and additives

Please allow up to one week for shipping of this product as we harvest them fresh per order and need to dry them before shipping..

Unlike most companies, we offer ALL the necessary ingredients for a traditional Betel Nut quid. This includes Betel nuts (Areca catechu), the sedative Siri leaf (Pipa betel), edible lime, (hydrated calcium oxide) and Gambir spice flavoring. The lime tradionally is chewed along with the Betel nut wrapped inside a quid of Siri leaf to make the package active. Traditionally a whole Betel Nut would be put inside one leaf along with a pinch of lime and a little Gambir flavoring, the whole quid would be put into the mouth and chewed swallowing all the juices that were released.

Arecoline, a volatile oil is released from the nut by saliva and lime. The betel nut contains Chavicol, Allylpyrocathechol, Chavibetol & Cadinene. Interesting enough, Arecoline is in the same cholinergic alkaloids group as muscarine which is found in the Fly Agaric mushroom!! Betel nut is often considered an aphrodisiac because it stimulates available energy & elevates moods.

The Betel Nut Quid is the most widely used narcotic in the world, being openly used mostly all over Asia were its called "Asia's Chewing Gun". Our ingredients are sourced directly from Indonesia and consist of the highest and freshest grade ingredients available ANYWHERE.
