Viable Seeds We advise that you also order a Phytosanitary Certificate when ordering any viable seeds, this will be an extra charge of $15.00 and takes approx. 24 hours for us to receive this. Just add this to your cart when ordering and we will do the rest. For all viable seeds we recommend requesting one of these, we have shipped without and had no problems but it’s at your own risk if you choose that we ship without this certificate. What is a Phytosanitary Certificate: A Phytosanitary Certificate is a document often required by many states and foreign countries for the import of non processed, plant products. The word Phytosanitary is derived from two Greek words…Phyto meaning plant and sanitary, meaning clean. Export commodities (depending on the country or state) must meet certain standards or criteria outlined by the importing country or state. These plant health requirements pertain to storage pests, plant diseases, chemical treatments and weeds. |
